Can you offer billeting space for our out-of-town dancers? Billets bring their own sleeping bags and pillows; the jam feeds them; all you need to provide is a floor or sofa.
We are seeking people who are willing to be hosts to out-of-town jam participants. If you have spare space in your house (can be a bed or sofa or floor) and want to have some contact improvisers stay with you for one or both nights of the jam, it would really help us out.
Note that billeting is unpaid. By offering to billet you are volunteering to have someone stay with you free of charge. You are not responsible for feeding your guest, providing transportation, or anything more than providing a space to sleep. Billets should also bring their own sleeping bags, pillows, towels etc. However, do feel free to be as hospitable as you wish!
Once we have matched you with your potential billet we will provide you both with each others’ contact information so you can discuss particulars.
If you have billet space to offer, please answer the following questions and send in an email to Elizabeth at orcjbillet@contactimprov.ca
